Yes there are many things in game that could be better and fixed, but the Dev or Devs are working on them just thankful to see that they're listening to the feedback and adjusting the game, fixing bugs etc. Even with the little amount I've played so far the game is very enjoyable and I believe will only get better with time. Keep up the good work!. Not Bad For a Work In Progress Im Hoping They will Add mods and stuff so we can do a few fixes here and there.. The game is ok. I play with a controller and everytime I go to the menu, it stops working. I have to use the mouse to exit the menu. Then, I can no longer look up and down. It eventually starts working again, but that frustration isn't something I can overlook. The textures pop in and out, the controls are clunky and sometimes unresponsive, and the inventory menu is occasionally blurry and illegible. All that being said, I still rather enjoy it, for some reason. It's an "open world" horror game, but the world is very empty, save for collectables. I hope they expand and make more of the buildings open to explore. And not just explorable, but please add something to do in them. Add people to see in the outter city and side quests to complete. The visuals aren't great, but they aren't bad for a small dev team. The open world is also pretty devoid of sound and ambience. I can barely hear the rain or my footsteps, if at all. I would appreciate maybe some more subtly music or at least something to stop me from questioning if my speakers are working. I bought it on sale for $8.50 and at that price, I won't look for a refund. I enjoy it enough to keep playing, but I cannot recommend it to anyone in the state it is in. Play the demo. Decide for yourself. There are far worse similar games. I believe this project will get better over time, so long as the developer doesn't abandon it. I will revisit my review after each update and change it accordingly. I see the potential it has and genuinely hope I can one day recommend it. Again, I have faith the devs COULD make this a worthwhile experience, if only for horror game enthusiasts. They seem to listen to customer feedback and that seems to be a rare quality in devs. PLEASE prove me right about your game, devs!. I played for a while and after these updates I can really tell it is worth it...unless you want some child kind of gameplay with bears and stuffed animals on cameras...This is real horror...Im glad to still be alive cause my heart has been tested on this one.If you want to fall from your chair and be scared to death then...welcome to Hanwell!Totally recommend it ♥. Bought on PS4 as well, I enjoy the atmosphere and graphics! A steal for the sale price of $1.99. Also, the council of hanwell is included with the steam purchase. I bought both to support dev though!
